Jenna Fischer's most famous role was as Pam Beesly from the popular television series The Office. In appreciation of her performance, she received the Emmy award for Best Actress in an Supporting Role. She also won the award for two SAG Awards.
Her family was based in St. Louis Missouri. Jenna's mother Anne used to perform in church dramas in her younger years, and this instilled an enthusiasm for theatre.
A trained theater actress, Fischer returned to her roots following the completion of The Office. She played Josh Hamilton in Neil LaBute's Off-Broadway production Reasons to Be Happy. Then she starred in Steve Martin's Meteor Shower - an absurdist production starring Greg Germann and Josh Stamberg - for the Old Globe Theatre's world premiere.
